Professorship Cultural Dynamics
From May 2009 to April 2010, Jitske Kramer was a professor of Cultural Dynamics at the TIO University of Applied Sciences. During this time, she developed Cross Cultural Communication as a curriculum subject and laid the basis for a new minor in this subject. However, owing to the unfortunate fact that there are only 24 hours in a day, there came a point when Jitske had to make choices in her activities. The professorship has now passed to Jitske’s network partner Maaike Jongepier.
The professorship in cultural dynamics offers students, teachers and companies in the hospitality and tourism sectors a sounding board in relation to the dynamics of the interaction between people of different cultural backgrounds.
